The Procedure
CoolSculpting uses cold energy to destroy fat cells permanently. The cooling machine works by grabbing onto fat between two plates. The fat is then held in place by a powerful vacuum that creates a suction motion; the cooling plates are set to a cold temperature just above freezing, making it impossible for the fat cells to survive.
